Heritage Oak Rescue & Rehabilitation is not your average horse rescue. Nestled in the rolling hills of Bandera, Texas, our ranch is more than just a sanctuary — it’s a forever home for horses who have faced hardships and now thrive in safety, care, and love.

Here the horses have a job, they are used in our lesson program teaching beginners basic horsemanship skills. We strongly believe the best way to set a horse up for success is by educating their person.
